Omoooo...
Just Finished watching Playful Kiss...I'v gotta say its YET another HIGHLY addictive Drama by Group 8 (BOF & Goong)!!! Now how am i gonna get over this & get back to my normal life??but then again this IS as normal as my life gets!:D
Playful Kiss REALLY Surpassed its Taiwanese version!!! mainly in terms of the story coz it wasnt draggy and Oh Ha Nis character was actually CUTE rather than being plain ANNOYING like Ariels! & OFCORSE we all know how DELIGHTFUL it is to see Kim Hyun Joong again.. even if he IS frowning all the time unlike in BOF! but then again that makes that OH SO Drop dead gorgeous smile of his EVER more special!
The only downer in the drama is the chemistry... sometimes its their sometimes its just not convincing enough... i personally believe, As big a fan i am of Kim Hyun Joong, he still could improve a bit on his acting (i know he actually doesnt even LIKE acting that much, but stil)... i mean his coldness is SUPERB but when it comes to showing affection, there are time when it JUST doesnt come out right! I think he did a MUCH better job in the special editions rather than in the actual drama itself!hehe! But OMOOOO the Rain scene .. the BIg Confession... watched dat particular part THRICE & jumped up & down with joy EACH time! sigh! (hope im not alone on this 1... :D)
Thumbs up to the girl who played Oh Ha Ni! Shes gonna become 1 MUCH loved actresses for sure!
Now i cant WAIT to see what Hyun Joong's next drama will be!
wanted to watch dis right after watching BOF...but have too many in my drama list..lol...dat's J+K dramas!...so dis goes kinda to da back of the list..XD...ah..kim hyunjoong!..love him!..:D...oh...do u listen to k-pop?

ah..yep...it actually is nw since my sis wanna watch it too...she's nt into these stuff but she watches all these j and k dramas with me..lol...and she loves hyunjoong..haha...so she said lets watch it aftr ma jan exams..^^..so its on the top..=)

The person I adored the most (after Baek Seung Jo & Oh Ha Ni of course) is Baek Seung Jo's mother!!!!!:D Loved her spirit & attitude:)

ReplyDeleteI still didn't watch playful kiss yet, becoz i hv already watched the anime version and the Taiwan version. The Taiwan version was really nice but sometimes it's hard to keep watching it without being embarrassed, coz the lead girl has no pride & she's depending on the Joe way too much.....
But I want to watch the Korean version becoz of Kim Hyun Joong even though his acting in BOF wasn't that good.. but he was so amazing as the kid groom in "We Got Married" & i love his 4D personality. no wonder he is one of best friend of TOP (BIG BAND) coz both of them have the same 4D personality :)....
It's nice to hear that Oh Ha Nis character isn't annoying like Taiwan version...so I'll watch PK after i finish watch "Mary stayed out all night" and "secret garden". thanks for the nice review :)

Shld chekout sm of their songs! ya i know what u mean! i didnt realy get to watch any drama aftr PK coz im kinda obsessed over K-pop! i luv SS501/Shinee/DBSK(nt togthr anymore)/TVXQ &B2ST!!! I strted watching "Mary stayed out all night" bt didnt rly get hooked to it! i just didnt feel the chemistry between the main couple... so only wtched upto the 9th episode... now wondering wthr to continue or to 4gt abt it & start watching Secret Garden... what do u propose??
Btw i must disagree with u abt KHJs actn not being good in BOF.... i thaut it was prtty gr8 .. he portrayed Ji-hoo sunbeas charater rly well!+he apprntly got an award for it aswel!
I watched the Hana Yori Dango be4 the K-version came out. HYD is 1 of my favorite drama.. so i thought BOF would surpass the HYD & the Korean cast was better looking than HYD cast. but acting wise BOF didn't surpass the HYD. so that's why i said KHJ acting wasn't upto Oguri Shun's level..But as a newcomer he did a great job and got an award..In general I like all versions (except taiwan), becoz each version add somthing new to the story line :)... it's just my opinion & pls don't get mad at me :)
ReplyDeletepls don't stop watching "Mary stayed out all night",becoz i know the story & the chemistry between couple keep getting better and better in the each episode...the main couple even won the 2010 KBS Best Couple Award... normally all of Jang Geun Suk dramas are really good :)....
